What's New in Assemble Pro - May 2026
Draw Faster: Undo Last Point with Backspace
Tracing a 20-point polygon and misclicking on the last one used to mean starting over. Not anymore. Press Backspace while drawing with the Length or Polygon tool and it steps back one point at a time. Escape still cancels the full measurement if you need it but now you don't have to throw away good work because of one wrong click.
See What Matters: Group-Level Visibility Toggles
You can now show and hide individual measurement groups on the canvas not just entire categories. Working on Footings and want to clear the Slab on Ground overlay? Toggle it off without losing everything else in Concrete. The category-level toggle still works as a master switch.
Stay in the Flow: Smarter Group Selector
The group dropdown now remembers which category you're working in. If you're measuring inside Painting, switch to a different group, and come back — you'll land right back in Painting, not at the top-level list. Fewer clicks, less context-switching.
Export Smarter: Wastage % in Excel
Your Excel exports now include a Wastage % column. Enter a percentage against any measurement and the total recalculates automatically, no manual formulas needed. Whether you're ordering materials or building a quote, wastage is baked in from the start.
Find What You're Looking For: Better Hover Highlights
Hovering over individual length and count measurements in the drawer now produces a bold, high-contrast highlight on the canvas — matching the clarity that area measurements already had. On a busy plan, you'll know exactly which line or count marker you're looking at.
